How to Convert FLAC, OGG, WMA to Play in Logic Pro X/9/8?

Logic Pro is a digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencer software application for the Mac OS X platform. Logic supports all most all audio files including Wave (WAV) and Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF), Core Audio Format (CAF) files, Sound Designer I and II (SDII) audio files, MP3, Apple Lossless, and AAC Files, Apple Loops. But there are still several audio formats that Logic can not import such as FLAC, WMA, OGG, APE, AUD, OMA, TTA, SHN, ACT, BWF, DSS, FSB, MPC, VQF, XA, XM, XWM. How to Convert Audio FLAC, OGG, WMA, etc. to Import to Logic Pro X/9/8

If you audio files are lossless audio FLAC, TTA, SHN, APE, you can convert them to AIFF for easy import and play in Logic Pro. If you audio files are lossy compressed audio files like OGG, WMA, you can convert them to MP3 for easy import and play in Logic Pro.

Download AnyMP4 Audio Converter for Mac. Install and launch it.

Step 1: Import audio files to the program

Press on “Add File” button to load your source audio file to AnyMP4 Audio Converter. You can simply drag & drop your audio files to load to the audio converter.

Step 2: Set output format to AIFF or MP3

Click on “Profile” drop-down. In the “General Audio” category choose “AIFF – Audio Interchange File Format (.aiff)” or “MP3 – MPEG Layer-3 Audio (*.mp3)” as the output format.

Step 3: Customize Audio settings (Optional)

Click on “Settings” to open “Profile Settings” window. In the “Encoder” drop-down under “Audio settings” section, choose 24bit AIFF as the encoder

If your source audio files are 5.1 channels FLAC, APE (6 channels), you can convert your audio to 5.1 channel. From “Channel” drop-down choose 5.1 channels.

Step 4: Start FLAC, OGG, WMA to Logic AIFF or MP3

Press on “Convert” button to start converting FLAC, OGG, WMA to Logic AIFF or MP3. After the conversion is finished, you can import the converted FLAC, OGG, WMA to Logic Pro.
