Overview

Lots of cool new features and improvements are included and embedded in iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPad Pro and 4K Apple TV. One of the most exciting news for music lovers is that Apple included support for FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) in these devices and in the updating iOS 12 and iOS 11.

The first outing in the Steve Jobs Theater on saw unveiling of flagship iPhone X, as well as two iPhone successors to the current models, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. The iPhone 8 models use Apple’s traditional home button and fingerprint authentication. iPhone X on the other hand is where Apple plans to take the smartphone, with no home button and a 5.8-inch display that takes up the full front side of the phone, except for a small area at the top with cameras and sensors. The direct iPhone X successor: iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone Xr have the same design as the iPhone X with an edge-to-edge OLED display, greatly reduced bezels, and a “notch” that houses the front-facing TrueDepth Camera system.
